Kinesiology - B.S. (Physical Education Licensure)

The Bachelor of Science degree program in human performance is designed to provide students with a foundational theory based in the movement sciences specific to professional preparation in physical education (PE) K-12 teacher licensure.

Physical education teaching specialists are now applying pedagogical skills in nontraditional instructional settings such as:

The selection of elective courses leading to a second teaching or supplemental (“add-on”) endorsement is highly recommended. Supplemental endorsements require a minimum of 21 semester hours in a content area (with a grade of “C” or better) or meeting the minimum score on the Praxis II Specialty Area Test.
